How Does it Work?

We’ll begin with a free online consultation. This is your chance to share your story, ask questions, and get a feel for my approach to yoga therapy. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll create a plan for how we’ll move forward together.

Many clients notice positive shifts within the first few sessions. At the same time, healing is rarely a straight line—symptoms can return as your body and mind adjust. To make those changes more lasting, consistency and commitment are essential. That’s why I recommend starting with a package of six one-hour sessions. This gives us the time to build steady progress, reinforce what’s working, and create changes that feel sustainable.

What can I expect in the sessions?

No two sessions are the same. I don’t arrive with a set plan—we design each session together based on how you’re feeling and what you’d like to work toward.

We’ll always begin with a brief conversation to check in. Think of this as setting a baseline, something we can return to at the end of the session to notice changes. From there, we’ll weave in simple movement, breathing practices, and accessible meditation techniques. Along the way, you’ll learn to:

  • Notice how your body moves and where compensations show up

  • Practice gentle movements to build safety and confidence

  • Use tools to calm your nervous system and shift patterns of tension

  • Apply personalized strategies that fit your body’s unique needs

We’ll close by returning to our baseline, noticing what may have shifted. I’ll summarize what we explored, and together we’ll create a plan for what to practice between sessions. Don’t worry about trying to remember it all—I’ll provide written notes and be available for support along the way.
